Training : Selected candidates will be sent for one year ‘Post Graduate Diploma Course’ in “Metro Technology and Management” at IIT/Delhi. During the above course, the trainees will be paid a stipend of Rs.25000/- p.m . Accommodation facility for self only will be arranged by DMRC during the period of the course at IIT/Delhi.

Probation: After induction as Assistant Manager (AM), they will be on probation for a period of two years. After successful completion of probation, they will be confirmed as AM as per the policy of DMRC. Bond & Notice Period time: Before joining the course, they will have to execute a bond of Rs. 5 Lakh to serve DMRC for a period of five years (This is inclusive of the PG Diploma course period of one year). They will also have to give a notice of three months (working) if they want to leave DMRC at any point of time during bond period.

APPLICATION ARCHITECT

Description:

The AA shall be part of a core product engineering team distributed at onsite (client location) in USA and offsite in GlobalLogic Pune, India. This core product engineering team uses open source technologies like Java, Spring, Hibernate, JBoss Application Server, MySQL Database, JBoss Rules, JBPM and Adobe Flex, Adobe LCDS to engineer, enhance a leading web-based Underwriting Management System for commercial insurance carriers servicing the USA market.

The AA will be responsible for overseeing and improving the technical excellence of the product engineering team at offsite. The AA will spend time equally between hands-on development using Core Java 1.5/6, Spring, Hibernate technologies, and design/overseeing of key technical initiatives planned for the product. The AA must have hands-on experience with the development of software products, the development and implementation of large enterprise business solutions. The AA must have a flair for individual technical excellence, competency to pickup things quickly, interest and skills towards hands-on development, and ability to mentor and groom engineering team for enhanced technical productivity and contribution.

Responsibilities:

• Create software that follows company and industry standards with high quality.
• Create design documents for large or complicated features within the product framework, and constraints.
• Take ownership of one/more technical initiatives as part of the core product engineering team.
• Work with fellow architects, and senior developers to engineer and enhance the product within timelines.

Key Competencies:

• 12+ years of experience operating as an Architect or Senior developer role on enterprise-wide development projects.
• Deep experience developing enterprise solutions using all aspects of Java EE, Spring, Hibernate, Application Servers, Web Services, Workflow, Rules Engines, XML technologies.
• Experience in mentoring technical members of an engineering team with focus on continuous improvements towards quality, and productivity.
